Hello fellow dreamers:
First of all THANK YOU to all the dreamers who joined us for the Fall Dreamwork Retreat at Sunrise Ranch, Oct 20-22. What a wonderful group!
This retreat came with a “surprise” when I received a late night phone call from Jeremy the evening before the event telling me he would be unable to travel due to excruciating back pain! This, of course, came as quite a shock as, not only was I deeply concerned for his well being, but at the same time I was trying to figure out; How am I going to announce the news to 33 registrants that Jeremy Taylor will not be attending the retreat weekend?! (something that I had been advertising for months) Fortunately, as what usually happens when we’re moved outside of our “comfort zone”, new ideas are birthed through a need to think quickly and creatively, which, when viewed in retrospect, is truly wonderful.
My superb dreamworker friends and veteran retreat participants, Irene Clurman and Michael Tappan, stepped up at a moment’s notice to help out by offering their inspired form of dreamwork, Dream Portrayal, a method of expanding the exploration of the dream through the use of theatrical techniques, masks and costumes. By offering the Dream Portrayal option, while I was simultaneously facilitating the usual dream circles with the “if it were my dream” format, we were able to work more dreams and offer a choice of styles, allowing everyone to experience the depth and breadth of dreamwork from different angles. Although we continuously had Jeremy’s well-being and health in mind, we still managed to create a powerful workshop culminating in a sense of community and connectedness that always stems from the conscientious sharing of our dreams with a group of compassionate like-minded people. Many thanks to all who had the confidence and trust to venture into this “new territory” with us!
The latest health update that I received reports that Jeremy is feeling much better now and is on the road to recovery! We continue to send him healing energies and look forward to having him join us for the Spring Retreat scheduled for May 18-20, 2007.

After a serious injury, with the help of Socrates and an elusive young woman named Joy (Amy Smart), Dan discovers that he has much to learn and even more to leave behind before he can become a peaceful warrior and find his destiny.
